South coast detectives have intensified their efforts to find a 3-month-old baby boy who was taken from his home in Hibberdene - near Port Shepstone earlier this month.

Luyanda Smamane's 21-year-old mother, Vuyisile says her cousin Lungelo and his girlfriend had been visiting about three weeks ago. When Vuyisile woke up, both her cousin, his girlfriend and the baby were gone.
Luyanda's carry bag was also missing. A young couple fitting the description of Lungelo and his girlfriend were allegedly seen taking a taxi to Isipingo, south of Durban that morning.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane believes the mother's cousin, Lungelo, could assist in helping find the missing baby.
"We are still searching for a 3-month-old baby baby boy who was taken from his mother in the Hibberdene area", he said.
"It is suspected the person who took the baby was in the house with the mother. We are still trying to find the person, but we suspect they are now in the Durban area", he Zwane said.
