Suspect killed in attempted cash-in-transit heist
A suspect has been killed following an attempted cash-in-transit heist and subsequent shootout in Randburg, Johannesburg.
Video footage, taken by an eyewitness in a nearby office building, shows one suspect firing shots towards security guards.
Netcare 911 says one of the suspects was killed during the shootout.
Paramedics say the armed suspects abandoned two of the vehicles they were travelling in, before hijacking another vehicle and fleeing the scene.
The female driver of the hijacked vehicle was not injured.
