Moerane Commission hears of distrust amongst councillors
The KZN ANC says its PEC descended on the Umzimkhulu Municipality immediately after political killings were reported there to try and restore calm.
A number of councillors - including former ANC Youth League Secretary-General, Sindiso Magaqa - have been gunned down in recent months.
The party's Super Zuma is testifying at the Moerane Commission of Inquiry in Durban today.
Besides corruption and the mismanagement of funds, Zuma says many councillors and councillor candidates no longer trust each other.
