Students afforded another opportunity to apply for NSFAS funding
NSFAS has announced that there will be a second round of applications running from the 9th of January to the 20th January.
The student funding body has received over 233000 manual and online applications, and will be working around the clock to process them.
NSFAS CEO, Msulwa Daca, confirmed that 233470 applications have been received.

He says those students who applied during the first phase will not be affected.
"For those who will submit their applications on the 9th of January, the outcome of the applications will be communicated from February 1, 2017. We are calling all young people who have missed the first application phase this year and need NSFAS financial support - to take advantage of this second opportunity," he said.
