Gale force winds forecast for KZN
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The SA Weather Service says gale force winds are expected in KZN.
Margate, Port Edward, Durban, Richards Bay and St Lucia are likely to be affected.
Forecaster, Thandiwe Gumede says areas adjacent to the north coast will experience very strong winds.
"We are expecting strong South Westerly winds during the course of the day. Those winds are expected to reach gale force strength," she says.
Gumede says we won't be experiencing severe thundershowers for a while.

"We are not expecting any other cut-off low anytime soon leading up to the weekend. At this point, it looks like things are gradually going back to normal," she says.
Meanwhile, COGTA MEC Weziwe Thusi has condemned messages spreading rumours that another storm is about to hit KZN.
She says while many in our province are fighting to save what little they have left, some are spreading unnecessary fear and panic.
"Unfortunately, we have also experienced incidents were some people use social media for all the wrong reasons to distribute hoax information. Members of the public are therefore urged to desist from distributing unverified information," she says.
