Strong winds forecast for KZN south coast

Weather forecasters are issuing an alert for strong winds from this evening, beginning on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast and heading north towards Durban.
The South African Weather Service says it has issued an alert for strong winds that could reach up to 70 or 80 kmph, coming from the south west.
"We also have another warning for very rough seas, maybe reaching heights up to 5.5m between East London and the Durban area," said forecaster Wiseman Dlamini.
He says they are expecting gale force winds - measuring at 35 to 40 knots - to pick up between East London and Durban from this afternoon.

Low temperatures are also on the cards for KwaZulu-Natal as of tomorrow, including the Ukahlamba region.
Snow Report SA says flurries of snow are also expected on parts of the Drakensberg between Lesotho and the Eastern Cape.
Temperatures for tomorrow are as follows:
Durban - 20
Richards Bay - 20
Underberg - 15
Pietermaritzburg - 16
Kokstad - 13
