Strong supporter turnout for NFP Sibuyile rally

Despite yesterday’s rain, busloads of NFP supporters from across the province managed to pack the Chris Hani Community Hall in KwaDukuza for the party's come back rally.

The party's leadership told the crowd that with the Sibuyile Rally, they wanted to demonstrate that they were confident about the future and looking forward to a good performance in the 2019 general elections.
KZN chairperson Vikizitha Mlotshwa says each district has been briefed on what’s expected and all new structures should be in place for 2019.
"We are looking at the branch level, constituency level and district level. Once all the structure levels are in place that is when the NFP will ensure that strategic planning towards 2019 is being implemented," he said.
"Therefore we want to ensure that there is no gap from now until 2019," Mlotshwa said.
Party leader Zanele KaMagwaza- Msibi had been expected to attend the rally, but she did not make it, apparently due to the rainy weather.
She has not been well since suffering a stroke in late 2014.
