Panayiotou and his co-accused, Sinethemba Nenembe and Zolani Sibeko, are alleged to have murdered Christopher's wife - Jayde in April last year.

The state's first witness today was Lorenz Stoger who works at a company installing GPS tracking in cars.

State prosecutor Marius Stander broke down the data of the Toyota Etios used on the days leading up to Jayde's murder.

Advocate Terry Price for the defence said even though Stoger's testimony does not implicate his client, accused number 1, they did consult their own expert and would need more time.

Peter Daubermann, who represents the two co-accused concurred. He said Stoger's affidavit consisted of only a few paragraphs compared to the detailed evidence he gave in court today. Stander said Stoger was from out of town and is happy to recall him once arrangements have been made.
