State says Magudumana was Bester’s transporter after escape
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Dr Nandipha Magudumana will return to a Bloemfontein court on Wednesday morning for day two of her bail application.

She's accused of helping her partner, murder and rape convict, Thabo Bester, escape from prison in Mangaung.
The couple was caught in Tanzania earlier this year.
But in a shocking turn of events, her lawyer Frans Dlamini told the court on Tuesday that the deregistered doctor was kidnapped and driven out of the country in a car.

The State's Sello Matlhoko, who is opposing bail, dismissed her claim.
"Through thorough investigation, I have established that the applicant was the one who drove from Johannesburg to fetch accused number five from KwaZulu-Natal after his escape.
"As stated in paragraph seven, the applicant and the accused five rented out a house together. They are both signatories to the lease agreement."
