State Capture: Ramaphosa has a lot to answer for says DA leader

President Cyril Ramaphosa's arrived in Parktown, Johannesburg to make his highly-anticipated appearance before the Zondo Commission of Inquiry.
He's due to give evidence, at the Commission which's been gathering information on allegations of state capture and corruption. The President's scheduled to testify over the next two days, as leader of the ANC and deputy president.
DA leader, John Steenhuisen is there. He's outlined what he expects to hear from the president.
"I think he has a lot to answer for he when he was Jacob Zuma's number two during the worst era of South Africa's post-democratic history of corruption, maladministration, theft, state capture and handing over state assets to well-connected families like the Guptas."

He says the president cannot absolve himself of his role in the Cabinet during the Zuma years.
On the eve of his appearance before the commission - Ramaphosa implored South Africans - fed up with corrupt officials - to vote them out in the local government elections.
The country heads to the polls on the 27th of October.
