State capture findings 'not worth paper their written on' - Zuma Foundation

The report was made public on Tuesday.

 It continues to build on previous recommendations that there is a case to be answered by the former president. 

 It further adds that the executive, under the leadership of Zuma, senior ANC officials and government departments, were all caught in a state capture web by the company known as Bosasa at the time.

 Spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation, Mzwanele Manyi, says the former president will consult his legal team. 

“President Zuma will in due course consult with his legal team on the appropriate course of action to be taken with these latest developments.”

The report once again accused Zuma of fleeing the public hearings of the commission and refusing to answer any questions related to the Bosasa allegations. 

 But Manyi believes Zondo did not afford Zuma the right to be heard. 

 “It is now well known that President Zuma was denied the opportunity of a neutral platform to put his side of the story in the so-called Zondo commission. 

 “For these reasons stated above, Zuma rejects any purported findings which were made without affording him the most basic human right to be heard.”
