Stage 6 load shedding in place 'until further notice' - Eskom

Eskom announced that South Africans are going to have to live with stage 6 of the rotational power cuts a little longer.
The power utility says a generation unit broke down at the Medupi Power Station, which means that stage 6 load shedding is going to continue until further notice.
"Following a breakdown of a generation unit at Medupi Power Station, Stage 6 load shedding will continue until further notice.

"Eskom will provide an update as soon as any significant changes occur," Eskom said in a statement on Thursday morning.
On Wednesday afternoon, the embattled utility ramped up load shedding from stage 5 to stage 6 over capacity constraints.
