Stage 3 and 4 load shedding 'until further notice' - Eskom
Embattled power utility Eskom says load shedding will be continuously implemented at stage 3 and 4 until further notice.
Stage 4 will be implemented between 4pm and 5am daily, while stage 3 will be implemented from 5am to 4pm daily.
"Over the past 24 hours two generating units at Arnot and one at Kendal power stations suffered breakdowns and were taken offline for repairs.
The return to service of a generating unit each at Lethabo and Hendrina power stations were delayed," says Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha.
A generating unit each at Grootvlei and Kriel power stations were returned to service during the same period.
