Stage 2 rotational loadshedding underway
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Eskom has this afternoon implemented Stage 2 load shedding.
The power utility says this as a result of a shortage of capacity.
It says Eskom needs to preserve resources to reduce the possibility of load shedding in the coming week.
Load shedding is expected to run from 1pm until 10pm tonight.
Residents are being asked to use electricity sparingly during this time.
