Stage 2 load shedding until Thursday - Eskom
Updated | By Newswatch
There will be stage 2 load shedding from Monday evening due to a generation capacity shortage.
Eskom says it'll implement the blackouts between 5pm and 10pm until Thursday.
It says it's lost 14 202MW to breakdowns.
The utility's spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says the situation could continue in the coming weeks if the capacity does not improve.

"Eskom will continue to closely monitor the system, adjust and communicate any changes as may be necessary. We appeal to all South Africans to help limit the impact of the shortages by continuing to reduce the usage of electricity and to switch off all non-essential items.
"Eskom cautions the public that as the shortage of generation capacity persists, the system will continue to be constrained with an elevated risk of load shedding over the coming weeks."
