Stage 2 load shedding returns, power cuts util 10pm

Eskom's bringing back Stage 2 scheduled power cuts.

They'll take effect from midday and continue until 10pm this evening.
The utility says the national grid's severely constrained as a result of multiple unit breakdowns.
Ten generation units at seven power stations suffered breakdowns in the last 24 hours.

Generators aren't working at Medupi and Lethabo.
Eskom says two units each at Majuba, Camden and Tutuka - need urgent attention.
It says it has to impose load shedding to protect the integrity of the system.
