Stage 2 load shedding makes dreaded return
Updated | By Newswatch
Eskom says stage 2 load shedding is coming back on Monday night.
The power utility's spokesperson Sikhonathi Mantshantsha says load shedding will be implemented from 9pm until 5am on Tuesday.
"Further breakdowns could force Eskom to implement load shedding sooner or to extend the load shedding beyond Tuesday morning.
"Since midnight we have lost the unit each at Camden, Kusile, Duvha and Matla power stations. Furthermore, the return of a unit at Kusile and two units at Majuba power stations are delayed."

Mantshantsha has warned the load shedding could kick in sooner and even go beyond tomorrow morning, if they lose more units.
"Total breakdowns amount to 16 261MW while planned maintenance is 5 350MW of capacity as we continue with the reliability maintenance.
"Eskom appeals to all South Africans to reduce the usage of electricity and to switch off non-essential items."
