South Africans set to suffer through another week of power cuts
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Eskom will be keeping South Africans on their toes this week.

The struggling power utility will switch between the stage 3 and stage 4 load shedding schedules this week.
Between midnight and four in the afternoon - stage 3 of the power cuts will be implemented.
After that, stage 4 will kick in for eight hours.
This pattern will continue until Thursday.
The utility says it's still experiencing capacity constraints due to planned maintenance and generation unit breakdowns.

Eskom's Sikonathi Mantshantsha says there've also been supply issues from its bulk diesel suppliers.
"While we expect diesel deliveries from Tuesday onwards, should this uncertainty of supply persist, higher stages of load shedding may be required. While some generation units are anticipated to return to service, it is necessary to continue the load shedding to conserve emergency generation reserves.
“Since Friday a generation unit each at Camden and Kriel power stations were taken offline for repairs. Another generating unit each at Kriel and Kusile power stations were returned to service."
