South Africa registers 1 923 new coronavirus cases

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize reported 1 923 new coronavirus infections.
The number of positive cases identified to date has increased to 653 444.
Sixty-four more people have died, taking the COVID-19 death toll to 15 705.
The number of recoveries nationally has risen to above 584 195.
