Some Metrorail KZN services back up and running

Thousands of the province's train commuters can breath a sigh of relief.
It has been almost a week since Tuesday's devastating storm brought train services to a standstill.
Metrorail KZN says operations on some of its lines resumed this morning.

"Trains will run in Pinetown, Umlazi, KwaMashu, north coast, new main line and Bridge City" said Metrorail's Isabel van der Westhuizen.
Alternative transport will be provided to commuters who travel from areas where railway lines haven't yet re-opened.
Engineers say it could take up to two months to repair damages between Reunion and Umkomaas.
