Social media reactions to SABC Acting CEO's resignation

Politicians and prominent South Africans have taken to social media to talk about the resignation of SABC's acting CEO, Jimi Mathews. In his resignation letter, also posted on Twitter, Mathews said he will no longer continue compromising his values. This has on the one hand brought into question the leadership of the national broadcaster while others have criticised Mathews for stepping down after certain decisions have already been made at the SABC.
