Slain PMB granny laid to rest

A Pietermaritzburg granny, her daughter and granddaughter
who were murdered at their home this week will be laid to rest today.
The body of the 65-year-old granny was found at her homes in Sobantu on Tuesday night by a relative.
It appears she had been strangled.
The bodies of her 46-year-old daughter and eight-year-old granddaughter were also found.
Police say they were allegedly raped and strangled to death.
Police arrested a 29-year-old man who was last seen with the family that night.

He appeared in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrates Court this week on charges of murder and rape.
The family will be laid to rest in Sobantu on Saturday.
