Skyscraper for Durban?
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Durban could soon boast its own iconic tower if its development gets the thumbs up.

The city says it's only a proposal at this stage but that the 88 storey building would be the tallest in Africa and in the Southern Hemisphere at 370 metres.
In a statement, eThekwini says the concept of the mixed-use building was presented to members of the Economic Development and Planning Committee today.
Its proposed location is near the Moses Mabhida and Kings Park Stadiums.
The city says consultations with communities and other stakeholders are due to start next week, ahead of the proposal's tabling for approval.
