The park's authorities says the juvenile reptiles - who are now an addition to 1000 adult crocodiles in the Park - were conserved at the St Lucia's Crocodile Education Centre since they hatched a year ago.

The Nile Crocodiles are a threatened species with only a few surviving until adulthood.

Some of the common threats against the species are habitat removals, illegal killings, and destroyed nesting sites.

Once they reach adulthood, the crocodiles can grow up to 5-metres in length and weigh up to 500-kilograms.
