Six people arrested at KwaMashu, Glebelands hostels
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Six people have been arrested during weekend raids at the troubled KwaMashu and Glebeland's hostels.

Police say various task teams joined the SAPS in their efforts to prevent crime, search for wanted suspects and crack down on illegal shebeens.
Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says an increase in raids is meant to maintain peace at both hostels.
''They arrested three suspects for dealing in drugs, dealing in liquor as well as one for possession of dagga. They found a number of dangerous weapons as well as liquor.
''The members moved to Umlazi Glebelands hostel where they also arrested one suspect for dealing in liquor as well as for possession of suspected stolen property. Another one was also arrested for possession of dagga,'' he said.
