A total of six people sustained injuries in two separate accidents in KwaZulu-Natal yesterday, paramedic services said.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said the first incident took place on Phakati Street in Klaarwater where a car and taxi collided.
"One person was found lying on the ground and four were found walking around and standing on scene.
"Upon assessment it was found that the patients, one woman and four men, sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care."
In the second incident on the M1 between the Morton off ramp and M34, paramedics driving past the area came across a vehicle that had crashed into a barrier, Bodasing said.
"A man believed to be in his 40s was found lying next to the vehicle. Upon assessment paramedics found that he sustained moderate injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care."
The cause of the incident was unknown.
