Sindiso Magaqa murder trial postponed

There has been a delay in the start of the trial against four men accused of the murder of Sindiso Magaqa in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

The former secretary-general of the ANC Youth League was shot during a suspected ambush in Umzimkhulu in southern KZN in July 2017.
He later died in a Durban hospital.
Sbonelo Myeza, Mbulelo Mpofana, Mlungisi Ncalane and Sibusiso Ncengwa face charges of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and malicious injury to property, amongst others.

The court heard on Monday that Ncalane, who was out on bail, was arrested for another matter and, therefore not in court.
The matter was postponed to Tuesday.
It's been confirmed that Ncalane will be present in court.
