Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The lawyer of the man accused of the kidnapping and murder of Durban North woman, Siam Lee, says he has died.

Philani Ntuli was set to appear in the Durban High Court for a pre-trial conference next month.
Lee's
charred remains were found in the Midlands two days after she
disappeared from outside a Durban North home in January last year.
His attorney, Reial Mahabeer says Ntuli passed away this morning of cancer.
The NPA's Natasha Kara says are waiting for a death certificate. "We will have to wait for a confirmation, in terms of documentation from the SAPS, and only then can we deal with the matter accordingly."
