Shivambu drops explosive MKP allegations
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Former MK Party secretary general Floyd Shivambu has again set the cat among the political pigeons.

Briefing the media on Thursday, Shivambu made some damning allegations against the Jacob Zuma led party.
In a room packed with reporters, Shivambu lifted the lid on what he claims to be the political shenanigans at the official opposition.
He claims that Zuma is surrounded by opportunists who exploit his trusting nature, by drafting fake reports meant to influence him.
" The reason they do that is because they want to steal money from uMkhonto weSizwe, and they're doing so now, withdrawal of not less than R7 million every month from the organizational coffers. Every TG who has ever raised that got to be removed as leadership of from uMkhonto weSizwe."
Shivambu insists he has not resigned from the MK Party, and also has no intention to re-join the ANC or EFF.

"I'll never join the ANC. It's directionless. It doesn't know what he's doing. It's in collaboration with the white system. There are those who said, don't ever join or rejoin the Economic Freedom Fighters because it's a cult and there's no self-respecting person who can join both the ANC and the EFF.
Instead, Shivambu will embark on a nationwide consultation process as he considers forming his own political party.
He says he's been in this position before when he was expelled from the ANC in 2012.
"In March of 2013, I wrote a perspective as to why a political party should be funded, and that perspective is within the founding manifest of the Economic Freedom Fighters."
