Shaun Abrahams's suspension to be heard in the High Court
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
A full bench of High Court judges will hear an application in Pretoria this morning to compel President Jacob Zuma to suspend NPA boss Shaun Abrahams.

This is a joint application by the Helen Suzman Foundation, and Freedom Under Law.
The application also calls for Zuma to suspend Dr Torie Pretorius, and Advocate Sibongile Mzinyathi - pending an inquiry into their fitness to hold office.
The application, according to the organisations, comes after charges were laid and then later withdrawn against finance minister Pravin Gordhan, and former SARS employees - Ivan Pillay and Oupa Magashula, which had a negative effect on the economy.

The organisations approached Zuma, who indicated he would make a decision by November 21.
In the meantime, Zuma has written to the three, asking them to provide reasons why they shouldn't be suspended.
They have until Monday to complete this.
The judges this morning will have to decide if the application is urgent or not.
