Shakila Singh's family says justice served in murder case

The family of murdered Durban woman, Shakila Singh says while they're satisfied with the sentences handed to the perpetrators - nothing will bring her back.

 Singh was killed during a robbery at her Musgrave home two years ago.  

Her domestic worker, Nonjabulo Mteki - who planned the home invasion - was given a 15-year sentence for robbery on Friday.   

Her co-accused, Amon Ngongi and Ally Abdullah were handed life sentences each for the murder and 15 years for robbery.

"Knowing the law we were expecting less than 15 [years], when she did get the 15-year sentence and the two years not being taken into account - I felt that we were getting justice in that way," Singh's sister, Jayshree Maharaj said.
