Several injured in oThongathi vehicle crash
Several occupants have been injured after two vehicles collided along Watson Highway in oThongathi.
According to Medi Response emergency medical services the impact saw 5 people trapped in the wreckage of one of the vehicles involved.
The assistance of eThekwini Firefighters was then brought in who had to use Jaws of Life to free the occupants.
According to the emergency service a further two people were injured in the second vehicle.
Advanced Life Support medics immediately intervened once the occupants were freed before rushing them through to hospital.
