KZN police have confirmed the arrest of another suspect in connection with the murders of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and his friend Tebello Motsoane.

The news came just hours after Police Minister Bheki Cele confirmed the arrest of six suspects in a late-night press briefing in Durban.
Two of the accused were caught in eSwathini.
The rapper, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes, and his friend were shot dead outside a popular restaurant on Florida Road just over a year ago.
KZN Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda confirmed the seventh arrest on Wednesday.
"Police in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested the outstanding suspect in the murder of Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend Tebello 'Tibs' Motsoane. The 30-year-old suspect was arrested today. The arrest brings the total number of suspects arrested for the murders to seven."
Officials say they've nabbed the mastermind, two gunmen, two spotters and a person who hired the firearms and vehicles used to commit the crime.
