Seven killed in horror Dundee crash
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Authorities are on the scene of a multiple vehicle crash in northern KwaZulu-Natal - in which seven people were killed.
KZN EMS's Robert McKenzie says two cars and a truck collided on the R34 between Dundee and Vryheid earlier.
"One person survived the initial impact of the crash, and is in a serious condition, and is being stabilised at Vryheid Hospital currently," he said.
While the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are not know, it’s understood those who died had been travelling in one vehicle.
Investigators are still busy on the scene, and the road remains closed to traffic.
The Road Traffic Inspectorate's Zinhle Mngomezulu says motorists are being diverted.
Last week, six people were killed in a horrific accident on the N3 in Westville - after two trucks and a minibus taxi crashed into each other.
