Senzo Meyiwa's murder cases postponed to next year

The murder case of former Bafana Bafana Captain Senzo Meyiwa has been postponed to March, next year for further investigation.

The five men believed to be involved in the murder of the football star six years ago were back at the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court this morning.
Muzikawukhelewa Sibiya, Bongani Ntanzi, Mthobisi Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Sifokuhle Ntuli are facing charges of murder, attempted murder and robbery.
The accused continued to plead not guilty.

The National Prosecuting Authority's Sipho Ngwenya says they are certain that the current accused are indeed the perpetrators.
"This is to allow the investigating team and prosecutors to consolidate the report from the forensic investigations but to also make sure that information is consolidated into an indictment," said Ngwenya.
"The following shape of the final charge sheet is informed of developments around the investigation and whatever else it has to be concluded with regards to the follow-ups the prosecutor has asked for. "
