Sentencing in Musgrave murder case
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Sentencing proceedings in the Shakila Singh murder case are due to continue in the Durban High Court today.
The 55-year-old mother was killed during a robbery at her Musgrave home - the crime is said to have been planned by her helper, Nonjabulo Mteki and Mteki's boyfriend at the time.
He then hired two men to rob Singh. Mteki's attorney says the court needs to consider that she'd never intended for Singh to be killed.
