Security guard shot at Westwood Mall

A security guard was rushed to hospital on Wednesday after he was wounded in a shooting at Westwood Mall, west of Durban.

ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson says they found the man in the parking lot with gunshot wounds to his legs.

"He was in a serious condition and was stabilized by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before he was rushed through to a hospital for the further care he required.
"At this stage the exact details of the shooting are unknown however SAPS have cornered off the scene and will be investigating further."
