Security guard shot dead in Durban

A case of murder has been opened after a security guard was shot and killed in Durban.
The police's Robert Netshiunda says the 50-year-old man was found dead in the early hours of Monday morning inside a business on Helen Joseph Road.

"It is reported that three armed men entered the business premises and shot at the victim, who was declared dead at the scene.
"The suspects allegedly fled the scene with the victim's firearms."
Last week Friday, seven people were shot on Victoria Street by unknown gunmen.
