Security guard killed during Phoenix school burglary

KwaZulu-Natal police are investigating cases of murder and burglary after a security guard at a school in Phoenix was killed.
The guard's colleague who reported for duty on Saturday morning is said to have discovered the 55-year-old's body in one of the toilets at Palmview Primary.
KZN police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says the school was robbed.

"He was tired by a black belt at the back. The deceased had injuries to the chest and head.
“On further investigation, it was discovered that the sound system as well as 15 inches speakers, a bass guitar and amp, was also stolen. The matter is still under investigation."
