security has been deployed to Durban's Addington Hospital after two fires broke
out at the facility on Thursday.

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health says they believe the incidents, which happened on the 7th and 10th floors were acts of sabotage.
Hospital staff who put out the flames say, in both fires, rubbish bags filled with paper and plastic were set alight next to the lifts.
No one was hurt and police are investigating.
MEC for Health, Sibongiseni Dhlomo says as operations continued as per normal.
“The department will continue to improve security at this hospital. We want the perpetrators to be arrested for gambling with other people’s lives,” he said.
“We will do everything possible to support the police with their investigation.”
