Section of N2 at Umkomaas partially closed
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
One lane on the N2 northbound at Umkomaas on the KZN south coast has been partially closed.

Transport officials say they are worried that cracks on the road might develop into a sinkhole.
KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport spokesperson, Kwanele Ncalane is asking motorists not to panic.
However, Ncalane says motorists do need to exercise caution when using that route.
He says teams from SANRAL are conducting assessments.
"We did receive a report yesterday that there were some vertical and horizontal cracks that were happening. As the Department, we liaised SANRAL and SANRAL did yesterday send out their engineering team."
"They did conduct the assessment, and upon the assessment, they concluded that they should partially close the slow lane," he said.
