Second suspect in Normandien murder case in the dock

A 20-year-old suspect has appeared in the Newcastle Magistrate's court in connection with the murder of Normandien couple - Vida and Glen Rafferty.

Doctor Vikani Ngwenya was among five people detained last week.
He's facing two counts of murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances and conspiracy to commit robbery.
The couple was killed on their farm in late August.
The police's Jay Naicker says the case has been adjourned to next week for bail investigation.

"The matter has been adjourned to Monday, 26 October.
The vehicle suspected to be used in the crime was also seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
Three of the man were released whilst another remains in custody pending further investigation."
