Search underway for Nkandla toddler who vanished near his home

A Nkandla family is desperate to be reunited with their two-year-old son who vanished a few days ago.
Lusakhanya Mkhize was last seen crossing a road near his home in KwaMagwaza on Friday.
He was wearing a blue vest, blue pants and grey and blue pumps.

Renegades Search and Rescue helps look for missing people.
The organisation's Keegan Govender says the boy was left in the care of a family friend while his mother was at work.
"At around 10am, they noticed that he was not in the property. Upon searching, they could not find him. He was crossing the road near the home.
"We got our members on the ground in Nkandla as well as our search and rescue teams, CPF members are all going groundwork."
Govender says the family is fearing the worst.

"The mom is very hurt and upset as well as the uncle and family members. They really don't know who could have caused any harm to the child or what could have happened at this point.
