Search for missing Umlazi child enters day four
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Search and Rescue teams are in their fourth day of searching for a nine-year-old girl who was swept away in the Umlazi river, south of Durban last week.
It is believed Amahle Mvoyo had been playing with friends at the river on Friday morning.
Teams searched for several hours from that morning -- but their efforts were hampered by rough water conditions.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says officers searched for her throughout the weekend.

A search with the help of a rescue dog as well as by chopper was conducted on Friday.
"She has not yet been found. Police officers have returned [today] to continue with their search," Zwane said.
