Search for teen girl at Durban beach enters day three

The search for a teenage girl, who's believed to have drowned at Durban’s Pirates Beach, has entered it's third day.

Another 16-year-old girl lost her life in the incident on New Year’s Day.
Local police have confirmed that an investigation's been launched.

"It is confirmed there is one teenager outstanding. So it is still an open case and they are still searching for her," says Lifesaving KZN chairperson Troy Brown
Meanwhile, a 63-year-old man lost his life, also on New Year’s Day, while swimming at a beach in Shelly Beach on the south coast.
