Search for missing South Coast toddler continues following failed lead
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
It's been two-and-a-half months since a south coast child disappeared and her whereabouts remain a mystery.
Three-year-old Siphesihle Dlamini disappeared on New Year's Eve.
She was last seen playing outside a church in Amandawe near Scottburgh.
Police have been trying to track her down - while the community has raised a reward of R40 000 for information that will lead to her whereabouts.
Private investigator, Brad Nathanson has also been involved in the search.
He says they've responded to more than 50 potential leads.
"The family is in Nelspruit at the moment. They were invited by the SAPS in Nelspruit because a body was found - that could have been the exact age and body size as Sipheshile. But it's not Siphesihle. Although we don't have any new information - she is not the body found in Nelspruit," Nathanson said.
