The search for an Eastern Cape mother and her child who were last seen ten months ago has been extended to Durban.

Twenty-four-year-old Sharlene Corbett and her six-year-old daughter, Harmonini Maria Corbett, were last seen in Queenstown in November.
According to police, the woman went to her mother's home in Port Elizabeth to fetch the child.
She told her mother they were going to live with the girl's grandfather in Queenstown.
Priscilla Naidu who is with Eastern Cape SAPS, says the grandfather returned home one day in November to find both his daughter and granddaughter gone.

Naidu says all their clothes were taken.
"In March 2020 the minor's biological father reported them missing at the Kabega Park police station. The family suspects that Sharlene may be with her child in Durban.
"Anyone who can assist us in tracing Corbett and her daughter or know of her whereabouts is asked to contact SAPS Kabega Park," added Naidu.
