A search and rescue
operation has been launched at the Tugela River in Mandeni following the
disappearance of a seven-year-old boy.
It's understood that the child had been swimming with friends on Monday when he got into difficulty.
IPSS's Medical Rescue's Samantha Meyrick says due to the levels of the river, rescue teams had to call of the search last night.
"The search has continued this morning with additional resources.
