Search continues for missing man at Shelly Beach

Search and rescue officials are on their second day of looking for a man who is believed to have drowned at a beach on the south coast.

It's understood that the 20-year-old disappeared while swimming at Shelly Beach on Sunday.
Members of the National Sea Rescue Institute were immediately contacted.

"Despite the extensive search, there remains no sign of the missing man. Search and rescue continue in an ongoing search. Thoughts are with the missing man in this difficult time,” says NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon.
