Search continues for girls swept away in Bulwer river
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
It's day three of a search for two girls who got swept away in a river in the Midlands.
Ten-year-old Nqobisa Macingo and 15-year old Mbali Mthembu got into trouble while trying to cross the Indluzela River in Bulwer.
They had been returning home from a traditional ceremony on Saturday.
Mbali's father, Snothi Mthembu, is with the search and rescue unit at the river.
He says his family is angry and blames government for the lack of infrastructure.
"I am there. I am looking for my daughter. We are looking with my family too, even yesterday, we were still looking.""

"Our government has to look after us because if there was a bridge my daughter was going to be alive. Now there is no bridge there. No one knows when a huge rain will come."
Ward councillor Vusi Mthembu says the issue of a bridge was raised a long time ago with authorities.
"I spoke with the Department of Transport because that bridge belongs to the Department of Transport. I think now they are busy dealing with that situation because I got a call from the DC that they are busy trying to do something about that bridge."
